Continuing the divisional playoffs, it looks like home field advantage has prevailed for 3 out of 4 teams. New Orleans dominated Arizona 45-14 while Indianapolis defeated Baltimore 20-3. Reggie Bush had a great game as did Drew Brees completing 23/32 for 247 yards and throwing 3 TD’s. Baltimore marched down the field on their first position for a field goal to match the Colts first drive. After that the Colts dominated the game. The Colts are a one dimensional team and while they may get to the Super Bowl, they will struggle against the running game of the NFC.
Minnesota dominated Dallas 34-3. With this loss will Dallas coach Wade Phillips still have a job next season? Next week the NFC division champions New Orleans Saints will battle the Minnesota Vikings for the NFC Championship and a trip to the XLIV Super Bowl. This should be a great match up with both teams having a powerful offense. The first half of the afternoon game was quiet with San Diego leading the Jets 7-0. The second half proved to be the game we thought it would be. Mark Sanchez prevailed with a score of 17-14. AFC teams will be the Indianapolis Colts versus New York Jets.
