Coaching Legend Dean Smith

Anybody that knows anything about sports knows that Dean Smith was a legendary college basketball coach. His list of accomplishments is very impressive with an overall record of 879-254. Dean also coached future NBA greats including Michael Jordon, Sam Perkins and James Worthy.  Smith had a simple coaching philosophy which he outlines in his book The Carolina Way: Leadership Lessons from a life in Coaching. His book outlines leadership qualities that he developed over his 36 years of coaching. He could not instill in his players enough: play hard, play together and play smart.
