Freshwater Fish Depending on where you live, this is going to determine what type of fishing you will do. Freshwater fishing can be found in most areas. Freshwater fish need water with salinity of less than 0.05% which would encompass many rivers and lakes. The nice thing about freshwater fishing is you don’t need a boat. You can fish from a chair on the shore of a lake if you like. Fishing on a river is a little more challenging, however offers variety and more options. Crappie, whitefish, bass and trout are a few of the common freshwater fish you might catch on your journey. http://www.todaysoutdoorfishing.com/2009/12/20/freshwater-fishing.html
