Idol 8 Star's

Idol Season 8 started with a very different format than the previous seasons. Idol 8 even included a new judge, Kara DioGuardi which added an interesting mix to the judges. Season 8 also had a legally blind contestant for the first time, Scott MacIntyre. MacIntyre often played the piano and he made it into the top 8 before elimination. Season 8 was loaded with young talent like Allison Iraheta, Lil Rounds, Matt Giraud, Anoop Desai, Kris Allen, Danny Gokey and Adam Lambert.  This seemed to be one of the closest groups yet, so each week when someone went home it was devastating. http://www.bestofamericanidol.com/blog/2009/04/06/the-emerging-stars-of-season-8-american-idol.html
