2010 Daytona 500

The 52nd Annual Daytona 500 will be held at the Daytona International Speedway on February 14, 2010. It is called The Great American Race where 43 of the best stock car drivers compete in NASCAR’s biggest and most prestigious race. This is a 200 lap, 500 mile race with the largest purse yet. The track is a 2.5 mile tri-oval with 31 degrees of banking. Drivers to watch for at the Daytona 500 will be Jimmie Johnson, Mark Martin, Jeff Gordon, Kurt Busch, Denny Hamlin and Tony Stewart.
