Children Need Exercise Three elements of fitness are strength, endurance and flexibility. Active children do these thinks and don’t even realize they are exercising. I know it is hard to imagine that a child has to worry about diabetes or heart disease at a young age; however habits form early. If you learn good habits at an early age it becomes routine and not work. In the long run you will feel better and have a better chance at controlling your weight as an adult and reducing your risk of disease.
