Hut Island and Tulum

Hut Island and Tulum are located on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico and is one of the best coastal Maya sites. Tulum is protected on one side by steep sea cliffs and the views from the ruins of the Caribbean Sea are amazing. It is also known as the walled city. The beautiful beaches are a great place to hunt for shells. It is close enough to Cancun and the Mexican Caribbean that it would be a nice daytrip to go sailing for the beauty, history and seclusion of Tulum.
