With the holiday season here, we are always looking for a new kind of punch to serve at our holiday parties. There are so many party punches to make, which one would be the best for your party? There are hot and cold punches, some even have ice cream and soda in them. What is nice about party punches is they are very quick and easy to make. Most of them can be made within 15 minutes. Ice rings, mint leaves and strawberries are just some of the things you can use to dress up your punch bowl.
Cinnamon winter cider is a punch that captures both eyes and taste buds. This drink makes you think of warm and cozy nights spent sitting by the fire, spending time with family and friends. It is very simple to make cinnamon winter cider. You will need one 12 oz can of frozen cranberry juice, one 6 oz can of frozen lemonade, one 12 oz can of apple juice concentrate that is thawed and undiluted, nine cups of water, five sticks of cinnamon, six whole cloves, one teaspoon of ground nutmeg, and one cup of sugar. You will combine all of these ingredients into a large pot and bring them to a boil. Once the mixture is boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes. This drink should be served warm. If you want a healthier version of this holiday punch, you can put in a sugar substitute, or leave out the sugar entirely.
